CS-HHC also receives Silver Health Center Quality Leader recognition for the second consecutive cycle and Advancing Health Information Technology recognition for the sixth consecutive cycle

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center (CS-HHC) has earned three distinctions from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in their 2026 Community Health Quality Recognition cycle, including its first National Quality Leader - Heart Health award.

The National Quality Leader designation represents HRSA’s highest national recognition within a specific clinical area and is awarded to health centers performing among the nation’s leading organizations in that domain. The National Quality Leader – Heart Health marks the first National Quality Leader award in CS-HHC’s history. 

CS-HHC was also recognized as a Silver Health Center Quality Leader for the second consecutive cycle. The Silver designation ranks CS-HHC among the top 11% to 20% of more than 1,500 community health centers nationally, reflecting performance at or above national benchmarks across a majority of HRSA’s clinical quality measures. 

Additionally, CS-HHC received the Advancing Health Information Technology recognition for the sixth consecutive cycle. CS-HHC has earned this distinction every year since 2021, the full period in which it has been eligible during the reporting window. The Advancing Health Information Technology recognition acknowledges CS-HHC’s sustained use of health information technology to support high-quality, coordinated patient care. 

Together, these awards reflect CS-HHC’s continued commitment to strengthening the quality of services provided, advancing technology-enabled care, and improving heart health outcomes for communities throughout Greater New Haven and the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
